Beauty, Strength, and Courage

These are examples of the work in a series of 27 life-size portraits of immigrant women who live in St. Louis. These paintings were done to recognize the struggles and achievements of all immigrants, who work hard and endure much to come here, and bring their ambition, dedication,

and hope to our country.
