I am an artist. I teach drawing and painting at Central Visual & Performing Arts High School. I have shown my work at numerous galleries, and my work is in private collections, school playgrounds, wildlife sanctuaries, bike trails, and other public spaces. I drew and painted "Road Trip" for my son when he was three years old, and now I have published it. The book is available through this site, through Amazon, and from the book outlets listed on the home page.

Over the last decade I have created six self-published calendars, illustrated in pen and ink, issues of a hundred or more.

Recognition

I, my teaching, and my art have been featured in the County Journals, St. Louis Magazine, and the St. Louis Post Dispatch. I also received a Special Commendation for my teaching from the St. Louis Public Schools in February 0f 2012.

For the four years I curated “Humenagerie, Containers of Uncertain Ancestry” a juried exhibit of ceramic sculpture for St. Louis Metro area high school and community college students. The first Humenagerie show was held at The Chapel Gallery, near Washington University. The second show was held at the Meramec College Art Gallery. The third show was at The St. Louis Artists’ Guild. The fourth Humenagerie was in January, 2014, at The Soulard Art Market.
